Account Information — When you sign in, we store your email (or Apple ID token if using Sign in with Apple).

Profile Data — Your selected languages, interests, and preferences to generate personalized lessons.

Device Data — Anonymous identifiers, push notification tokens, and basic app usage data.

Usage Data — Interaction patterns, completed lessons, and review streaks to improve recommendations.

2. How We Use Information

We use your data to:

• Generate personalized vocabulary lessons and micro‑learning experiences.

• Deliver daily reminders and push notifications.

• Manage authentication, subscriptions, and in‑app purchases.

• Improve app performance and user experience.

• Provide technical support and detect fraud or abuse.

3. Push Notifications

Homeword uses OneSignal to send notifications. OneSignal collects anonymous device identifiers and push tokens to deliver reminders and lesson notifications. You can opt out at any time via your device settings.

4. Third‑Party Services

We use trusted third‑party services to provide Homeword’s core functionality:

Supabase (database & authentication) — Stores profile data, lesson history, and preferences.

OneSignal (push notifications) — Sends notifications and manages device tokens.

RevenueCat (subscriptions) — Manages subscription status and purchase history.

These services process data on our behalf to operate the app. They do not sell or use your personal information for advertising.

5. Data Storage & Retention

Profile and lesson data are securely stored in our database. We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide Homeword. You can request data deletion anytime by emailing support@homeword.app.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; export your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent for notifications or data processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@homeword.app.

7. Children’s Privacy

Homeword is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as Homeword evolves. We’ll post changes here and revise the “Last updated” date. For significant updates, we may notify you via email or in‑app messages.
