Terms of Service

Welcome to Homeword. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Homeword mobile application and related services ("Service"). By accessing or using Homeword, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Homeword, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and capable of entering into a binding agreement.

2. Accounts & Eligibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any activity under your account.

You must provide accurate information during registration.

Homeword is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from unauthorized access to your account.

3. License & Acceptable Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Homeword for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, or distribute Homeword without permission.

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code.

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Homeword may offer paid subscriptions for access to premium features.

All purchases and billing are handled through the Apple App Store (or Google Play, if applicable).

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your App Store account settings before the renewal date.

Refunds are subject to the policies of the platform where you purchased the subscription.

5. User Content & Feedback

You may submit feedback or suggestions. By doing so, you grant Homeword a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use and incorporate that feedback without obligation.

Homeword may generate or display language content for you. This content is provided for educational purposes only and may not always be accurate.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Homeword and its affiliates disclaim all liability for damages arising from your use of the Service.

In no event will our total liability exceed the amount you paid (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using Homeword at any time by deleting the app and/or canceling subscriptions through your App Store settings.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
